Steve Ouellette
Steve Ouellette, or Mr. O, is the Math Department Chair at Westwood High School in Westwood, Mass. With a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a master’s degree in teaching from Boston University, Ouellette can solve a rubik’s cube in record time—well, not really, but he could if he really wanted to. Steve began his teaching career in 1993 after having worked as an electrical engineer at Otis Elevator Company for five years. His stellar engineering expertise gives him a knack for incorporating educational technology in his teaching. In addition to being a regular activity writer for the NUMB3RS show since the spring of 2006, Ouellette has become enthralled in the romance between two of the show’s characters—Charlie and Amita. When he’s not lobbying for a cameo role on NUMB3RS or spending time with his family, Ouellette can be found writing the CliffsNotes® Guide to TI-Nspire. He’s also authored the CliffsNotes Guide to the TI-Navigator System and relishes in the irony that he used to avoid writing assignments during his high school and college years.
